Looking For Relief With Anti-Snoring Pillows

Are you looking into anti-snoring pillows?  Does this sound familiar:  "Oh brother, there he/she goes again, snoring like a dragon and I can't get any sleep. I have to go to work tomorrow and how can I function if I have to listen to that snoring all night." How many of you have been in that position where you just can't tolerate your partner's horrible snoring anymore? This has been going on for eons and it is usually the male partner that is the culprit and the female has to suffer the noise and sleeplessness, or move to another room. But, there is help. On the market today are devices called anti snoring pillows that can help the problem tremendously.

One of the reasons that sleep is interrupted by snoring for the snorer himself, is that the body is in a bad position for sleeping and the airway in the throat is being blocked because the chin is pressed down against the chest and the air can't get through. As a result the body struggles to pull more air in, and the resulting noise is the snore as the effort to breathe is increased. Investing in some anti snoring pillows could solve the problem. They help to reposition your head and neck and the bad angle is eliminated and the air can pass unhindered.

The causes of snoring are many: bad posture while sleeping, eating too much before bed causing a deep heavy sleep; drinking alcohol before bed which will do the same thing; sleeping on your back instead of your side; obesity is another factor----too much flesh in the facial area can act as an air flap and actually flap from side to side as the air is drawn in and out.

Another form of anti snoring pillows that are available, are called magnetic pillows. They tout that they not only stop snoring because they position the head better and allow the airway to be unblocked, but they have magnetic properties that perform a healing function of their own.

One of the major factors in intense snoring in our obese world today, is sleep apnea. This is a problem with folks who usually have too much facial fat and folds of skin around the head and neck, and when the head is resting on a regular pillow so it is out of alignment, the person drops into a deep sleep which soon progresses into snoring because the folds of skin drop back against the back of the throat, and the air moving in the air ducts resonates in those flesh folds and causes the intense snoring. What happens in sleep apnea is that the snorer builds to a crescendo, then stops breathing for a period of time, and then as if he were coming up out of a swimming pool where he had been underwater for some time; he gasps for air, the heart jump starts and beats rapidly and then he proceeds to breathe again. Sleep apnea in its extreme forms can prevent you from getting a full night's sleep, and can be fatal. In lesser cases, anti snoring pillows could help solve the problem.

Something else to remember is that the position in which the snorer sleeps, is most important because some body positions can cause snoring more than others. When you lie on your back to sleep, you can just imagine it. Your facial flesh because of gravity, falls backwards toward the pillow, and because of that, the folds of tissue in your throat fall back against the back of the throat, the airway is blocked, and the body must struggle to pull more air in to compensate-----so what happens, you snore. The best ways to alleviate snoring is to invest in anti snoring pillows, and sleep on your side; that way your head and neck are raised to a comfortable degree on the pillow, the airway is open to permit easy breathing while you sleep, and your whole body is resting easily.

Snoring is not a natural function, and should be eliminated from your sleeping patterns for good. It is detrimental in the fact that your heart is taxed with the struggled breathing and you are not getting the rest your body needs for rebuilding and restoration. Anti snoring pillows can be the answer for people looking for relief from snoring and just wishing for a good night's sleep.
